WEIGHT EQUIPMENT

Speaking of strength exercises, unless you’re planning on doing only body weight exercises, you’ll need weights of some kind.

If you only have a little room, you can achieve adequate muscle fitness for anti-aging purposes with a decent set of dumbbells, such as the Bowflex SelectTech 552 Dumbbells set.

If you’re thinking of setting up a more elaborate home gym, you could go with some barbells such as the 300 lb. Olympic Weight Set and a weight bench like a Marcy MWB-558 Standard Bench.

If you are concerned about not having someone to spot you with the barbells (you can get injured if a barbell falls on your chest if you can’t lift it, which has sometimes happened to me at the end of a set), a machine such as the Bowflex Sport Home Gym would be the way to go.
